US Recovery Act Boosts the Purchase of Explosives Detection Units for Airport Security
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced the purchase of more than 1,200 explosives trace detection units using US$35.5 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding, improving explosives detection capabilities at airports nationwide while infusing Recovery Act dollars into local economies. read more
