The City of Lamentin, located on the French archipelago of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean, has used an IndigoVision city-wide wireless IP Video solution in its successful bid to reduce crime. Situated near the Guadeloupe National Park, Lamentin's 16,000+ residents enjoy a good quality of life, blighted in certain areas with low-level crime. The need to combat anti-social behaviour, graffiti and the local drugs trade led the City authority to install a state-of-the-art surveillance system. read more

Malaysian City in Spotlight with Wireless IP Video System from IndigoVision

Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) has deployed a fully-integrated wireless CCTV surveillance system using IndigoVision's IP Video technology. MPSJ administrates the city of Subang Jaya, which has a population of 4.7 million and is located in the state of Selangor on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. This is the first large scale deployment of centrally monitored CCTV cameras by a local municipal council in Malaysia. The 100 camera system was designed and installed by IndigoVision's approved Partner GTC Global Sdn Bhd, who specialise in deploying integrated wireless security solutions. read more

IndigoVision IP Surveillance Weathers Storms at Russian Gas Plant

IndigoVision's IP video technology is providing end-to-end surveillance for one of the largest integrated oil and gas projects. Sakhalin-2 was built from scratch in the harsh subarctic environment of Sakhalin Island in the Russian Far East. Phase 1 involved oil production from an offshore platform installed at the Piltun-Astokhskoye field in 1999. Phase 2 included the installation of two further platforms, 300-kilometer offshore pipelines connecting all three platforms to the shore, more than 800-kilometer onshore oil and gas pipelines, an onshore processing facility, an oil export terminal and the construction of Russia's first liquefied natural gas plant. Sakhalin-2 has standardized on IndigoVision's solution, with more than 600 cameras providing remote monitoring for the entire infrastructure in what is believed to be the largest wide-area IP video surveillance system.  read more

IndigoVision IP Surveillance Takes off at Indian International Airport

IndigoVision's IP video solution has been used for a surveillance system with more than 3700 cameras in the new terminal 3 at Delhi International Airport (DIAL). The project is believed to be the largest single installation of an IP video system in Asia. The new terminal was built as part of the massive infrastructure development for Delhi ahead of the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Delhi is India's second largest airport and with the recent expansion can handle 34 million passengers per year.  read more

IndigoVision, the supplier of IP video security solutions, has announced its half year financial results. The company reported an increase in sales revenues of 25 percent to US$24.0m for the 6-month period ending Jan. 31 2011, with operating profits up by 15 percent to $2.2m. Significant investment in research and development continued and the strong balance sheet enabled the payment of an interim dividend for the first time.  read more
