IndigoVision Experiences Significant Growth

IndigoVision, the supplier of IP video security solutions, has announced its half year financial results. The company reported an increase in sales revenues of 25 percent to US$24.0m for the 6-month period ending Jan. 31 2011, with operating profits up by 15 percent to $2.2m. Enzio Schneider, Product Line Manager for the vertical ITS market

Enzio Schneider is Basler's new Product Line Manager for the vertical ITS market (traffic applications). He is a graduate geophysicist and joined Basler in 2004. Schneider was active as an Application Engineer (2004-2006) and as a Project Engineer (2006-2008) for Flat Panel Display Inspection with extended stays in Taiwan and Japan. He took over the responsibility for Surface Inspection Sales in 2008 before joining the camera product management team in 2010. In his current role, Schneider will manage project engineering, product management and sales specifically as they apply to ITS applications for both machine vision and network cameras. Schneider brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous positions, and we are happy to have such an experienced and skilled new colleague on the team.  read more

Pan European Certification Provides Niche for Small Businesses

ne of the EU's main objectives is to facilitate reciprocal trade between its member countries. In the security equipment manufacturers' environment, however, this has not proved as effective as companies may have hoped. Increasingly standards have been written to provide the platform for uniform independent testing but this in itself is not enough. Basler Megapixel Domes Secure Office Building in Bucharest

Bucharest's city council is currently transforming Northern Bucharest into one of the city's key areas with high-end office developments, shopping centers and upscale residential buildings. Among the new buildings is a high-profile office building offering 26,000 square meters of office space and a restaurant with a capacity of 150 seats.
