Spanish Electronic ID Program Adds Smart Card Readers from Identive


Identive, a provider of products and services for the identification, security and RFID industries, announced that it has shipped an additional 122,000 smart card readers to support Spain's national electronic ID card program.
The smart card readers will be used to promote the use of the DNI electronico, or electronic ID card, which the Spanish government launched in late 2009. Read more
