G4S Acquires Security Provider Detcon

G4S, a secure solutions group, acquired G4S Applied Security of Detcon ("Detcon"). Detcon is dedicated to the design, engineering and installation of fire detection, surveillance, building management and access control systems. Accordingly, it complements the acquisition of Control Systems Argentina in Oct. 2009 by expanding the group's presence within its current customer base as well as providing access to other targets which are using complementary technologies. read more
